Ann Arbor Farmers Market Posters

“To market, to market" is a nursery rhyme based upon the traditional rural activity of going to a market where agricultural produce would be bought and sold. The lines from the poem speak of accessibility and how easy it is to get to the market. It also implicitly carries the idea of fun and play - a trot being a playful jumpy walk. Which is exactly what the farmers market is all about – a fun activity to do with friends and family. The illustrations celebrate Michigan produce and all the colorful things available at the market, while kids could engage in a fun activity of identifying their favorite food.
