Cookup is a social recipe app that helps home cooks document, track, and share everyday meals with friends and family, turning trusted recipes into a personal library while building cooking habits through rewards and reflections.

The visual experience is warm and approachable. Instead of polished food photography, stackable ingredient cards form engaging visuals, making recipes feel rich, even without images. The explore page acts like a curated mystery recipe box, filled only with recommendations from trusted friends and family.

Designed mobile-first, Cookup supports fast, frictionless logging, with optional AI-generated suggestions and smart defaults to help capture a meal before it’s forgotten. The app extends into a web dashboard that users can access anytime.

Why another food app?

Scattered Documentation:

Recipes are saved across paper notes, voice memos, chats, and screenshots. There’s no central, reliable place to store or share them.

Inconsistent Cooking Habits:

Between busy schedules and decision fatigue, cooking routines break. People often rely on one thing that feels easy and reliable: a friend’s suggestion.

03
